Tailwheel Endorsement Course
Build Confidence from the Ground Up
Our Tailwheel Endorsement Course is designed for private pilots with little or no tailwheel experience who want to develop the skills and proficiency necessary to confidently operate a tailwheel aircraft.
Training is conducted in the ACA Citabria 7GCAA, giving pilots an ideal platform for developing precise aircraft control, landing technique, and tailwheel proficiency.
Most pilots can complete the requirements for their endorsement in approximately two days of flying. We strongly recommend reserving three days when possible to allow flexibility for weather, maintenance, or additional training if needed.
A typical two-day course includes approximately 10 hours of aircraft time and 60 logged landings. Actual training time will vary based on your experience, currency, and proficiency in similar operations.
All-Inclusive Pricing
Your training day includes the aircraft, fuel, and instructor. No additional Hobbs charges.
2-Day Course $2,400
Add Additional Training Days $1,200/day
Single Day $1,400
Half Day $800
Spin Training Endorsement
Develop a Better Understanding of Your Aircraft
Spin training is designed to provide pilots with a practical understanding of spin entry, recognition, and recovery while developing greater confidence in aircraft control.
This course is designed to meet the requirements of 14 CFR 61.183(i) for flight instructor applicants. Spin training is also available and encouraged for other pilots, including student pilots who want to expand their understanding of aircraft behavior and recovery techniques.
Plan for approximately four hours of combined ground and flight instruction.

How Training Works
A Simple, Focused Process
01 Reserve Your Training Dates
A 50% deposit is required to secure your training slot.
We accept cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal.
02 Prepare Before You Arrive
Before your appointment, we'll provide training materials specific to your course so you can begin studying before you arrive.
03 Train With Purpose
When training begins, your instructor will tailor ground and flight instruction to your experience and goals.
We'll make the most of the day—from breakfast and ground instruction through preflight, flying, additional ground instruction, and continued flight training.
The goal isn't to watch the clock. The goal is to accomplish your training objectives.
Training With Flexibility
Aviation doesn't always cooperate with the calendar. Weather, maintenance, and illness can occasionally disrupt a training schedule.
If a disruption occurs before your scheduled training slot, your deposit will be retained and your training slot will be rescheduled.
If training has already begun and a disruption requires a pause, you will receive priority rescheduling to complete your course, with credit applied toward the remaining training.
We do everything possible to keep your training moving forward while maintaining the quality and safety of the experience.
